Client-Side Processing

All tools on WebToolsForge run entirely in your web browser. Your files, text, and data are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

This includes image compression, PDF conversion, video processing, text encoding, password generation, and all other tool operations. The processing happens using your device's CPU and memory - we have no access to your data at any point.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics to understand how our tools are used and improve the service. Google Analytics collects:

• + General geographic region (country/city level)
• + Device type, browser, and operating system
• + Referral source (how you found us)
• + Session duration and engagement metrics

This data is transmitted to Google's servers. You can opt out by using browser extensions like Google Analytics Opt-out or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser.

External Libraries

Some tools load open-source libraries from trusted CDNs to provide functionality:

• +PDF tools: PDF.js from Mozilla (loaded from unpkg.com)
• +Video to GIF: FFmpeg.wasm (loaded from jsDelivr)

These libraries run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed locally and are not sent to these CDN providers - only the library code is downloaded.

What We Never Collect

We do not collect or have access to:

• - Any files you upload or process (images, PDFs, videos)
• - Any text or data you enter (JSON, passwords, QR content)
• - Generated passwords, hashes, or UUIDs
• - Personal identifying information beyond analytics

Local Storage

WebToolsForge does not store your data in browser local storage or cookies (except those set by Google Analytics for session tracking). When you close your browser tab, all processed data is gone.

Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense to support the free operation of this service. Google and its ad partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or your browser's cookie preferences.

Security

All connections to WebToolsForge are encrypted via HTTPS. Since your data never leaves your browser, there is no risk of server-side data breaches for your processed content. We implement security headers to protect against common web vulnerabilities.
